Our platform has two types of credentials available, depending on your program.
JUSTICE U
Digital badges and credentials
Justice U digital credentials provide a verifiable way for colleagues and employers to discern the skills you’ve learned and time you’ve invested in ongoing learning and training in the area of human trafficking.
PROFESSION-SPECIFIC
Continuing education units and credits
Where applicable and possible, Justice U learning experiences will also provide relevant continuing education units for professional associations and specific industries.

Open digital badges and credentials
We understand that communicating your credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging.
That is why we have partnered with Credly’s Acclaim platform to provide you with a digital version of your credentials.
Information about your earned Justice U digital credentials is sent via email once earned. From there, you can claim your digital badge or certification, and begin to share on social sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, or as a downloaded PDF.
Benefits:
Can be used in email signatures, digital resumes, and social media sites.
Contains verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them, communicating clearly to peers, employers, and your entire network.
The Acclaim platform provides many tools to manage your credentials the way that suits you best.
Types of Justice U credentials
Certifications
Awarded for passing all of the courses in an entire learning curriculum. This represents the accumulation of all of the badges in a certification series. Typically 3-6 hours of learning.
Badges
Represents passing a single course; tied to a minimum score on a final exam for the course. Typically 1-3 hours of learning.
Microbadges
Coming soon! Represents completing a concise and specific learning component. Typically 20-40 minutes of learning.

Frequently asked questions about digital credentials
We understand that communicating your credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging. That is why we have partnered with Credly to provide you with a digital version of your credentials.
Once you earn a badge with Justice U, you will receive an email notification from Credly with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account.
You can share your badge directly from Credly to LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook; over email; embedded in a website or in your email signature.

Open badges are web-enabled versions of a credential, certification or learning outcome which can be verified in real-time, online.
We have partnered with Credly to translate the learning outcomes you’ve demonstrated into a badge. The technology Credly uses is based on the Open Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. This enables you to manage, share and verify your competencies digitally.
